Termly sessions to ensure PSHE subject leaders are up to date with the latest developments. Each session includes the opportunity to share ideas with like minded professionals.
Online Courses
Support for PSHE subject leaders to develop their knowledge and skills. These sessions are delivered in partnership with Teachers’ Courses and Resources and full details can be found on their website.
On Demand Training
Pre-recorded sessions allow you to access training at a time that suits you. This approach gives flexibility for the busy PSHE subject leader.
Training for children taking on roles
Peer Mentors
In school sessions to train children to be effective peer mentors.
The session will include:-
• the types of issues which might come up
• listening skills
• problem solving
• confidentiality
• when to refer to an adult
School Council
Training for children to be effective School Council representatives.
The session will include:-
• Effective listening
• Running meetings
• Topics the School Council can be involved in
• Keeping everyone in school up to date
Bespoke Staff Training
Tailored twilight, half day or full day training sessions are available on specific aspects of Personal Development e.g. dealing with sensitive and controversial issues, outstanding teaching and learning in PSHE education and a whole school approach to the Equality Act. Contact me to find out more.
