This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and transfers are handled by Personal Development Matters.
By purchasing any product, service, course, membership, consultancy session, training event or resource from Personal Development Matters, you agree to this policy.

2. Digital Products
Digital products include, but are not limited to:
Downloadable teaching resources
Resource packs
Guides
Templates
Worksheets
Educational materials
eBooks
Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are generally not available once a product has been downloaded, accessed or delivered.
By purchasing and accessing digital content, you acknowledge that immediate access is provided and that your statutory cancellation rights may be affected under applicable consumer legislation.
If a digital product is faulty, incomplete or not as described, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
3. Online Courses
Courses may include:
Self-paced courses
Scheduled courses
Drip-fed learning programmes
Recorded training
If a course has not been accessed, a refund request may be considered within 14 days of purchase.
Once course materials have been accessed, viewed or downloaded, refunds will generally not be available unless required by law.
Where a technical issue prevents access to a purchased course, we will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an alternative solution.
4. Memberships
Memberships may be offered on a monthly or annual basis.
Membership subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
You may cancel your membership at any time.
When a membership is cancelled:
No future payments will be taken.
Access remains available until the end of the current paid subscription period.
No partial refunds will be provided for unused membership time.
If a payment is taken in error, please contact us as soon as possible.
5. Consultancy Services
Consultancy services may be delivered online or in person.
Where a consultancy session has already taken place, refunds are not available.
If Personal Development Matters is unable to deliver an agreed consultancy session, an alternative date will be offered or a refund may be provided.
6. Training Events, Workshops and In-Person Sessions
Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email.
More Than 30 Days Before the Event
Customers may:
Transfer the booking to a future agreed date where appropriate; or
Cancel and remain liable for 50% of the agreed fee.
Between 14 and 30 Days Before the Event
Customers may:
Transfer the booking to a future agreed date where appropriate; or
Cancel and remain liable for 75% of the agreed fee.
Less Than 14 Days Before the Event
The full fee remains payable.
This reflects the preparation, planning and scheduling commitments made in advance of the event.
7. Event Cancellation by Personal Development Matters
If we need to cancel an event, workshop, training session or consultancy appointment, we will aim to provide as much notice as possible.
Where appropriate, customers will be offered:
A replacement date
A transfer to an alternative event
A full refund of fees paid
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.
We are not responsible for any indirect costs incurred by attendees, including travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.
8. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend a booked event, training session, webinar or consultancy appointment without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation.
Refunds will not be available for missed appointments or non-attendance.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests outside this policy may be considered at our sole discretion.
Granting an exception on one occasion does not create an obligation to do so in future cases.
10. Faulty Products or Services
If you believe a product or service has been supplied incorrectly, is defective, or does not match its description, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, provide:
A replacement
A correction
Additional support
A refund
